Module 2: Pre-talk

The pre-talk is the strong foundation of any hypnosis experience. This is the time during which you re-assure the client that the session will be of benefit to them, you discuss what hypnosis is, dispel any myths about hypnosis, and educate the client about specific levels of hypnosis. This module will give you all of this information so that you can share it with your client in a very professional way.

Module 3: Inductions

Inductions are used to relax the client into a hypnotic state. The proper use of an induction is essential to any hypnotherapy session. Learn the simple and easy way to induce ANYONE into a hypnotic state.

Module 4: Deepenings

After inducing hypnosis, you will want to take the client deeper. You will learn the proven techniques to get someone to go deep into total relaxation.

Module 5: Scripts

Scripts are what the session is all about. You have relaxed the client, and deepened that sense of relaxation. Now it is time to deliver the message of positive change to their subconscious mind. You will receive a series of very powerful scripts and learn how to create your own.

Module 6: Amnesia

This is one of the more fascinating topics in hypnosis. The idea is that you want the client's conscious mind to forget what has happened in the session so that they do not over-analyze the experience. The memory still remains with the subconscious mind so that change becomes an effortless process.

Module 7: Trance termination

After you have successfully relaxed the client, imparted the positive change information, and allowed them to consciously forget the session, you will need to end the session. This module will teach you the proper and effective way of ending (terminating) the session (trance).

Module 8: Final Exam

Upon completion of the course, you will want to demonstrate your new powerful abilities. This is a chance for you to do just that. You will receive a written exam and will also be required to submit an audio recording which you will already have completed as part of your homework.

Congratulations! Upon successful completion of the written (e-mail) final exam and review of your final recording, you will be mailed a beautiful Clinical Hypnotherapist certificate from the American Alliance of Hypnotists. You will then be ready to launch your career in hypnotherapy.

Full Article: Planning a Baby Shower Baby showers are a lot of fun, especially for pregnant mom-to-be. Not only is this something for the baby, but now she doesn‘t have to go out and buy. Before you throw a baby shower for someone there are a few things you should do to prepare. The first thing is figure out if this will be a surprise shower or not. There are benefits to both, the first one being if she knows she can help you with a list of people that she would like to be there. However, if it is a surprise she’ll be touched that you cared enough to throw her a baby shower, but be careful you don’t want to give her too much of surprise and put her in labor. Making the Guest List When it comes to making the guest list things can get a little tricky. Find out if there is anyone that would be upset if they weren't invited. Never leave out close family or friends, at least give them the option of showing up. Games Planning games for a shower can be a bit difficult when you have so many fun games and have a few gifts to pass out as prizes. Baby shower games are a lot of fun, here is a quick list. Mommy’s belly- The mom-to-be stand in the center of the room and each guests get to decide how big her belly is using a string or a toilet paper sheets. Find out who guessed the closest. Guess the nursery rhyme- Give each guest a sheet of nursery rhymes and have them guess the nursery rhyme or finish it. This will help everyone remember them and see who reads those bedtime stories. Did you say Baby Game?- Each guest is giving small clothespins to wear around their neck on a necklace or on their shirt. Every time someone says “Baby?if someone catches them they get to take one pin. At the end of the party the guest with the most pins wins a prize. Memory- Using a plastic tin of some sort place a bunch of baby items in it such as, bib, thermometer, baby spoon, diaper rash crème, etc. Anything you’d use on a baby. Let each guest get a chance to look in the bin for a few seconds and take it away. Once everyone is finished have them write down everything that was in the box. The person with the most correct answers wins. Baby Food Tasting - Have a variety of baby food in jars, take off the outside wrapper and place a number at the bottom of the jar, on a separate piece of paper write the name of each jar. Each guest is dished out a spoonful of baby food to try. Have them write down what they think each one is. The one with the most correct answers wins a prize. Have a great baby shower and don’t forget to bring a gift.

Full Reviews: Prioritizing job descriptions in your resume The most difficult and time consuming section of any resume is the listing of your work experience, no matter the level you have reached in your professional career. If you have just graduated college and don’t have any full-time professional experience, you are concerned if your part time job and summer internship are enough to get your foot in the door. If you are a seasoned professional with extensive work experience, you are worried how to fit all of your hard work on only one page. If you are changing careers, you are unsure which skills best showcase your qualifications. Listing work responsibilities on our resumes doesn’t get easier as our career progresses. The key is to consider your career objective and prioritize your work in accordance to your goals. When people are asked about work responsibilities, they have a tendency to disclose the routine items first. This method can be a costly mistake for listing your professional experiences on your resume because it leaves all of the important and key qualifications at the bottom of the list. To avoid falling into this practice, first put together a list of your responsibilities on a sheet of paper. For your initial draft, don’t worry about how you are phrasing each statement ?just make a list of everything that you do in your current or have done in your previous jobs. Once your list is completed, consider all of the responsibilities you have included. What are the three most important items on the list for each job? How do those items relate to your career objective? Are there any other responsibilities you have listed that better support your career objective than the three you picked as the most critical to your job? You have to consider all these questions in order to prioritize your job descriptions on your resume. Begin each description with a power word, such as managed, developed, communicated, etc. Make sure that the statements you list first quantify your achievements ?don’t be afraid to list sales figured, customer acquisition rates, budget and timeline successes, or any other figures which help put your responsibilities in a context of the business/field you are working in. Also, these statements should be aligned with your career objective. If you want to get a job in project management, letting your employer know that you managed a team of 20 people will effectively highlight your qualifications. It is important to quantify your job description statements on your resume; however, as a word of caution, do not quantify all statements, just one or two that are most critical to your job and are goal driven. This shows your employer that you think in terms of exceeding your goals. All subsequent descriptions of your responsibilities should support the first one or two items on your list. Prioritizing doesn’t only apply to your job descriptions, although it is the most commonly disregarded element in this particular area of the resume. Achievements and qualifications are often misrepresented because they are not ordered properly. Same rules apply ?consider which of your achievements and your qualifications are most complimentary to your career objective, and list them first. For example, if you are applying for a job in customer service, list your communication skills before your computer skills. While both are important, your communication skills are more in line with your career objective, and therefore should take priority. As a final test, put yourself in the shoes of your employer. Cross-check the job description and make sure that you address the qualifications required for the job with the information on your resume. Let your potential employer know you have what they are looking for, and you’ll be sure to make a great impression.
